Ethan Lee ’27 wasn’t originally scheduled to compete for the Big Red varsity golf squad on March 31. But when a teammate was unavailable, Lee stepped in—and made, what he called his “greatest sports moment ever.”

The 22nd annual Race, to be held on May 4, will benefit HomeWorks Trenton, the first after school residential program in Trenton, N.J. Participants can run, walk, skate, bike – any form of locomotion is welcomed. 

USA Lacrosse has selected Jon Posner, Lawrenceville’s head boys’ varsity lacrosse coach as head coach of the U.S. Youth National Teams at the U15 age grouping as part of the National Team Development Program.

Congratulations to the Big Red girls’ and boys’ squash teams, which finished fourth and ninth, respectively, at the 2025 U.S. High School Team Championships. Held in Philadelphia Feb. 21-23, the tournament featured 112 boys’ and 96 girls’ teams.

Big Red congratulations to these standout student-athletes from the Class of 2025, who are set to compete at the NCAA level.

While Lawrenceville students return home for winter break, the boys’ varsity ice hockey team will stay on campus and compete in the 76th annual Lawrenceville Invitational Hockey Tournament. This three-day, eight-team tournament is one of the most prestigious and oldest independent preparatory tournaments featuring teams from the United States and Canada.

Lawrenceville Karate brought home the gold – and more – from the Region 8 Fall Tournament, held last month at the Kalahari Resort in Pocono Manor, PA. More than 600 competitors were on hand for the fall World Tang Soo Do tournament.
