Girls Varsity Swimming Wins State Championship
Good things come to those who wait – including state championships! Congratulations to the girls varsity swim team, winners of the 2020 NJISAA championship. It’s their first title in eight years.
Head Coach Stefanie Harrison said, "It was a great team effort that was capped off by an exciting win. It was really exciting to bring the trophy back home to Lawrenceville! Almost all of our girls swam personal best times, which is a very special occurrence."
Highlights from the meet include:
  • Helen Liu '22 finished third in the 200 IM and second in the 500 freestyle
  • Miranda Cai '20 took first place in both the 50 and 100 freestyle races, and set a new School record of 52.60 in the 100
  • The girls 200 free relay quartet (Nicole Cheng ‘22, Maddy Laws ‘23, Bella Shroff ’21, and Cai) took third place.
